The Olive Thrush Cottage is on a small-holding at the edge of town and offers views of a freshwater dam with lots of birdlife.

The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. On arrival, you will be welcomed by your host, Riaan, who speaks English and Afrikaans.

The cottage have an open-plan living area and kitchen. There is also an indoor fireplace with a starter pack of wood provided, an invertor as well as free WiFi.

The bedroom has air conditioning and a mosquito net to protect you from some flying visitors if they do make an appearance. There is also an electric blanket to keep the cold Karoo nights at bay. The bedroom has an extra-length king-sized bed. The bathroom has a large shower and soft fluffy towels are provided. The more adventurous have the option of a refreshing outside shower, under the stars, which is great for those hot summer evenings.

The cottage has a private braai area and a lovely shady patio. Safe off-street parking is available. The Olive Thrush Cottage is the perfect, comfortable choice of self-catering in Prince Albert.
