Situated at the top of Pretoria, at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooking the Union Buildings, Unionview Guesthouse offers value-for-money accommodation in a central location with spectacular views, convenient for both the leisure and business traveller.

Unionview is in close proximity to UNISA, SABS, and the Zuid-Afrikaanse, Jakaranda and Little Company of Mary hospitals. The University of Pretoria and many embassies, as well as Brooklyn Mall, are close by.

The en-suite room is equipped with twin three-quarter beds, all with TV, microwave and a bar fridge. It opens out onto a wide verandah overlooking the city. There is secure parking on the property. Free Wi-Fi for an hour is available for guests. The tariff excludes breakfast, with the option of a continental breakfast. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the vicinity and a take-out home delivery service is available.

The Cottage is a separate granny flat, featuring a double bed, self-service kitchen and a bathroom. It has a lovely outside area with a boma for braais. This unit is suitable for long stays.

Since the property is built on a hill, there are a few steps to all the rooms.

The Union Buildings, 3kms away and built in about 1912 to house the government, now accommodate the offices of the President. The buildings are not open to the public but the gardens are beautiful and offer good views of the city. Unionview is approximately 6.5 km from the Voortrekker Monument

About 4kms away, Freedom Park on Salvokop, recently opened to the public, is well worth a visit.
