Breakage Deposit

House Rules

Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Guests are welcome to smoke outside in designated areas, and we kindly ask that you use the provided bins for cigarette butts.
To maintain the peaceful environment of Marloth Park, loud noise is not allowed at any time, including music and loud conversations. After 18:00, complete silence is required. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum. If a disturbance complaint is reported and a security company is called out, fines will apply as follows: the first call-out will incur a fine, the second call-out incurs a higher fine, and on the third call-out, you will be asked to vacate the park with assistance from SAPS.
Please bring your own swimming towels, as the Uwila house towels are not to be used at the swimming pool.
Please note that the air conditioners in this house are not linked to the solar system and will be connected to the pre-paid meter for guests.
Uwila Management will pre-load the meter with a total of R 100/day. Do not tamper with the prepaid meter for the air conditioner, and do not break the seal of the prepaid meter unit.
To ensure road safety, please adhere to the following regulations: the speed limit on tarred roads is a maximum of 50 km/hr, while gravel roads have a maximum limit of 30 km/hr. Passengers are not permitted to ride on tailgates, side steps, windows, or roofs of vehicles while driving. Only licensed and appropriately aged individuals are allowed to drive, and children are not permitted to sit on the driver’s lap while the vehicle is in motion. Drinking and driving are strictly prohibited. Please avoid driving on parkland, as shortcuts or parking are strictly prohibited. When driving at night, reduce speed as animals, reptiles, and snakes may be on the road.
Quad bikes and off-road bikes are not allowed anywhere in Marloth Park.
Fireworks and pets of any kind are not permitted. It is also prohibited to use spotlights to view animals from cars or properties.
Cutting down vegetation or trees is not allowed, and the use of dry wood as firewood is strictly forbidden. Fires may only be made in designated areas, and caution should be exercised during high winds, even when using designated fire areas.
Please do not litter.
Drones are not allowed within the park.
Discharging firearms, including BB guns and paintball guns, is strictly prohibited.
Hand-feeding of animals is not allowed, and it is especially important to avoid giving them maize or bread.
For your own safety, walking or cycling between 18:00 and 06:00 is prohibited.
