Amashova Durban Classic
Description
The Amashova Durban Classic (also known as the Amashova National Classic) is South Africa's oldest classic cycling race, founded in 1986. Held annually, it offers multiple route options ranging from a 38?km fun ride to a 132?km “full distance” through KwaZulu-Natal, starting in areas such as Howick, Pietermaritzburg, Cato Ridge, or Hillcrest and finishing at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Renowned for its scenic route, full road closures, and strong community spirit, it attracts thousands of cyclists each year.
