Description
The Soweto Marathon, known as “The People’s Race,” is a flagship annual road running event starting and ending at Nasrec’s Expo Centre and FNB Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg. It features multiple distances (42?km, 21?km, 10?km, and wheelchair races), attracts over 23,000 runners, and celebrates Soweto’s heritage by passing iconic landmarks like Vilakazi Street and the Hector Pieterson Memorial.
