House Rules

There is a conservation fee of R100 per adult, R50 per child (aged 2 to 12), and R50 per vehicle, which can be paid online via the reserve’s website or at the TAU gate in the reserve.

Please note that the chalets in the reserve are not fenced. Guests are therefore asked to be aware of their surroundings and not to walk into the bushes.

Self-drive permits can be purchased at the entrance gates or at the start of the route. The cost is R250 per vehicle for a 1-day permit, R320 for a 2-day permit, R380 for a 3-day permit, and R450 for a 7-day permit.

No group bookings of more than 8 people, including children, can be accepted – there are no communal areas for groups.

The last 2 km to Adama is a national gravel road, and guests are advised to drive carefully, but the road is suitable for all vehicles.
