Baie gerieflik, netjies en bekostigbaar. Ons het baie lekker gebly, dit is 'n pragtige uitsig en die eenheid was gerieflik, netjies en het alles gehad wat ons nodig het. Ons kon self kos maak en restaurante is loopafstand of per Uber kon ons by die see heerlik eet en goedkoop na plekke toe gaan waar ons wou. Ons het ook baie veilig gevoel, dit is regtig 'n baie veilige area en bekostigbaar. Die gasheer en sy vrou was ook baie vriendelik en behulpsaam, ons sal vir seker weer daar bespreek as ons Kaap toe moet gaan.

Heerlik gebly, mooi uitsig. Heerlik gebly - plek is skoon en netjies, gasverwarmer is voorsien vir die koue aande, die bad se water was heerlik warm. Die uitsig is fantasties! Die buurt is stil, rustig en veilig. Sal beslis aanbeveel.

Relaxing, peaceful, enjoyable. Andrew and Billy are amazing, they're wonderful people. It was a warm, friendly welcome. I would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone.

Huge potential if issues are addressed. We were greeted by the very friendly owner of the guesthouse upon arrival. The customer service throughout was warm and friendly. We also received free pure oxygenated mineral water from an actual hot spring, which we appreciated. However, the actual stay should be the highlight, not just the customer service. Here are a few of the main issues that need attention: There were swarms and swarms of huge (and I mean kamikaze huge!) mosquitoes. I have never seen so many mosquitoes in my entire life! We had to go out and buy repellent and electronic mosquito killers for three rooms in order to have a semi-good night’s rest. I understand that the property is located next to a wetland, but then this issue should be catered for with the necessary precautions. Not pleasant. The family suite's layout is very awkward. The kitchen, dinner table, and chairs are all located inside one of the bedrooms. Imagine having a good time with your partner only to have an urgent knock on the door from someone who needs a late-night snack or beer from the fridge. Uncomfortable, to say the least. There are no plugs located next to the beds, which means all devices have to be charged in the kitchenette, next to the microwave. There are no cupboards or shelves in either of the two rooms, no hangers, and absolutely nowhere to hang or pack your clothes. We were luckily staying for one night only, but I can't imagine staying there for more than one night without having a place to put clothes! The second bedroom is completely bare, with literally no available space to put one’s suitcases, clothes, and other belongings. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows so hard, we had a restless night for all the wrong reasons. I do realize that mattresses are not cheap, but it is something a good guesthouse has no choice but to invest in. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, which we really appreciated, but there was no handwash or other soap or amenities. The hot water tap in the bath had lukewarm water at best. As someone who really appreciates a scalding hot bath at the end of the day, the lukewarm water was a huge disappointment. These are not insurmountable problems, and I believe that the owners of the guesthouse will appreciate our constructive criticism. The view, however, was really to die for – Table Mountain in all its glory!

We appreciate both positive and constructive criticism from our guests, yet this review seems to be loaded with personal opinions and false statements. We are located on a Vlei, and we do mention to our guests that we encounter occasional mosquitoes. However, it is by no means constant or a major issue for our guests. Our family suite is designed for families (hence the name) and we have not received any comments on the layout being awkward so far. It would seem that the guests possibly desired more privacy from each other, in which case they could have raised this concern and received a full refund within the first 15 minutes of their stay. We indeed provide drawers and storage for guests in this room, and in all of our rooms. The 'second room' referred to by the guest is unclear, as none of the rooms in the family suite are necessarily 'bare' and all provide storage for clothing and suitcases. Hundreds of people stay with us and only a fractional percentage of our guests comment on the comfort of the beds, and no one has commented on our pillows. We source our water from the ground, and it is tested to be free of chemicals and metals and is filtered from the taps. We further filter our water through a reverse-osmosis system to make it pure and healthy. It does not come from a hot spring. Most importantly, we provide unlimited hot water in our bathroom shower, and hot water from our geyser for the tub. If the guest experienced water that was only warm, it could be because the geyser was temporarily depleted, which unfortunately happens when we are busy. Again, we thank the guests for taking the time to let us know about their experience, and we will endeavour to make the necessary changes to improve our rooms, but only in cases where the comments are factual.

We received a warm welcome from the host, great personality. The rooms aren't 100% as advertised in the pictures; I think they're edited and taken at the beginning. All my friends added comments to this review about their experience over the weekend. When we entered the lounge area, there were chips on the couches; someone had eaten them and didn't clean at all. The bathroom didn't have any hand wash or paper towels to dry your hands; we had to buy our own. The cleanliness of the entire apartment wasn't 100 First impressions last a lifetime.

We appreciate our guests telling us how to improve, but we are very serious about cleanliness, and cannot believe that the guest found their room dirty. We do provide coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, dish soap, toilet paper and towels to our guests, but not personal soap, and do not promise to do so. Again, your room was cleaned thoroughly by our experienced staff prior to your arrival. If it was not acceptable to you, we invite you to tell us at the time and we will make it right. That is our commitment to our guests!
