Description
Karoo Rustigheid Gasteplaas is a comfortably furnished, solar-powered self-catering house for 8 to 10 guests in the Roggeveld, located 47 km from Sutherland. The route consists of 24 km of tar road and 24 km of gravel road.
The spacious house offers accommodation for 6 adults and 4 children and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living area. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed and 2 single beds. The first bathroom has a shower and toilet, the second bathroom has a bath with a shower-over-bath, and the third bathroom has a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A solar geyser provides hot water. Electricity should be used sparingly.
High-quality linen and bedding are provided, along with fireplaces for warmth and solar power for the house. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.
Guests can relax in the living room, which features a TV with full DStv channels, free Wi-Fi, as well as an indoor braai area and fireplace. In winter, guests can enjoy seasonal snowfall, while spring brings the beautiful flowers and bulbs of the Roggeveld Karoo.
