Description

Mont Rouge Guest House is situated in the foothills of the Red Mountains on a large property, on the edge of a walking trail. Guests have an unspoilt view from their rooms of the surrounding mountains.

Each of the rooms are statefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests have use of the garden where the children play or have a barbecue in one of two well-equipped bomas. Every unit has a private entrance and parking is right in front of each unit. If guests have any special requirements, please advise in advance.

Mont Rouge Guest House also has interesting rock formations, age-old trees and a variety of wild birds on the property.

From the guest house, it is a five-minute walk to the village square where a multitude of art galleries, eating places and curio shops. For the outdoor adventurer, rock climbing, hiking trails, abseiling, 4 x 4 routes, river rafting, horse riding and fly fishing are available in the surrounding area. Clarens also offers golf, tennis, cycling and running facilities for the sportsman. Clarens is also the natural habitat for the seasoned pub-crawler.
