Aanwysings was maklik, die plaas en sy klein bokkies en skapies was ekstra spesiaal. Meloné se oog vir detail is iets uitsonderlik, “changing cushion” vir ons baba. Speelgoed vir ons 2-jarige. Tafel netjies gedek waar ons het soos konings. Skaapboud met wortels, aartappels, pampoen gereg en boontjies, alles uit die tuin met tuisgebakte brood en konfyt! Ons eindig die aand af met roomys en ‘n dadel gebak. Die verblyf self was van die beste, spasie, wit beddegoed, lekker anysbeskuit met vars plaasmelk vir die volgende oggend. Plaastoe Gastehuis sal van nou af altyd ons eerste stop wees, Kaap toe!

Heerlik oornag. Ons gesin het heerlik oorgeslaap en heerlik geëet op ons reis na die wildtuin toe.

Wholesome, cosy and peaceful. An absolutely sublime experience. The farm is beautiful and easy to find, located near the N1. The accommodation is equally lush with a comprehensive set of amenities - a large hot shower and plenty of warm blankets, plus electric blankets were especially appreciated during our winter stay! But the highlight was undeniably the immaculate farm dinner provided by the lovely host. The buffet-style meal was generous, hearty and delicious, featuring home-baked farm bread and butter with cheese and apricot jam made on the farm. For sides, there was a lovely green salad, a spinach and cheese bake, beetroot from the farm and the most heavenly pumpkin pie. This was the perfect complement to the star of the show: tender mutton with rice, carrots, potatoes and gravy. Absolutely sumptuous! To our surprise, our meal also included a beautiful dessert of sticky date pudding with ice cream and homemade custard. The perfect conclusion to a tiring day on the road! We waddled off to bed, stuffed, and enjoyed a warm and restful sleep after. 10/10 would return!

Peaceful stay where you can be with yourself. Excellent and peaceful stay. Very pretty house with excellent stuff. Meloné is such a kind host; she made sure that we were comfortable, provided us with yummy fresh juice and rusks on our arrival. The house has quality items, books, house games, and comfortable beds. Enjoyed the night sky looking at the Milky Way. A full kitchen is not there, which is mentioned in the property listing, but Meloné was kind enough to provide us with many options for dinner that she would have prepared for us. As we knew the kitchen was not there, we already had our plans. Thank you very much, Meloné, for your kindness.

A lovely farm and very kind hosts. Melone and her family were very kind and welcoming. They communicated clearly and helped us tremendously. Melone also offered a meal on arrival that was fantastic. We absolutely plan to go again.

Puik plaasverblyf. Baie gemaklike plaas oorbly, met uitstekende gasvryheid. Defnitief die moeite werd as 'n oorslaap. Die kosopsies wat hulle aanbied, is 'n moet.

Sielsrus. Salig. Seën. Wonderlike plaaskuier en oornagplek. Die eenheid is so netjies en skoon, gemaklike bed en kwaliteit linne, en die stilte en plaasgeluide is onverbeterlik. Ons sal PlaasToe wyd en suid aanbeveel.
