Description

Salt River Lodge is set in a supremely tranquil location on the northern side of the lagoon with its natural ebb and flow of the tide. It is part of a natural bird sanctuary which includes the Knysna Lourie, Heron and Egyptian Geese which often visit for a drink from the swimming pool.

There are 4 cottages each sleeping 5 guests. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything required for self-catering needs which includes a stove, oven, microwave oven, full-sized fridge with a freezer, braai facilities and linen. cottages can be fully serviced upon request. The property has a backup system to keep the lights, TV, and Wi-Fi working during loadshedding times.

Cottage 1 is a ground-floor unit that accommodates 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. Room 1 comprises a double bed and the second room comprises 2 single beds. There is a sleeper couch in the living area. There are 2 bathrooms fitted with a toilet, a basin, and a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, and a toaster.

Cottage 2 is a ground-floor unit that accommodates 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. There is a swimming pool and a communal pool table for your convenience as well as canoes to play on the river with. Each unit has its own braai facilities & a stunning river view. There is also an added backup system to keep the lights, TV, and Wi-Fi on during loadshedding times.
