Description

The Cottage, located in the picturesque town of De Rust in the Klein Karoo, is a charming rustic self-catering house with a private and enclosed garden. Offering two braai areas, one undercover on the patio and the next one is a stunning pit braai, ideal for the lazy Karoo evenings under the stars. Our guests can enjoy a complimentary fire starter kit ( braaiwood and blitz). Additional wood and blitz can be purchased directly from us and delivered to your door. The Cottage is perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or small families desiring a break from the busy hustle and bustle, or simply just a relaxing and comfortable stop over for travellers.

This 1-bedroom cottage can accommodate 4 guests and is furnished with a double bed and a double sleeper couch. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a Victorian bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Tea, coffee and milk are provided for your first day. The lounge is furnished with a comfy couch and a TV with Netflix and YouTube. Dstv app is loaded, so guests who have Dstv can log in with their own details. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The sun patio is the ideal spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, and the delightful outdoor area features a fire pit with breathtaking views of the Swartberg mountain range. There is also a sparkling communal swimming pool. It's an ideal space to bask in the Karoo sun by the pool or simply unwind and relax. Guests can enjoy secure parking on the premises, behind a secure gate for added convenience.

With Meiringspoort Pass just minutes away, you can visit the waterfall, take in the scenic beauty, and relish the peace of the Klein Karoo.
