Magnificent peace, tranquility and stunning views and comfort. Superbly comfortable, quiet and beautiful views, most enjoyable sitting (and braaiing) on the patio watching cattle, sheep, guinea fowl, large selection of birds, goats, and even saw 3 turkeys. Stunning sunsets and the best way to unwind after many months of illness and recuperation. This little house was absolutely perfect! Thank you to the team and especially to Ronel!

Beautiful location, accommodation was perfect. What a beautiful spot! Lovely fresh mountain air and small town charm catered to visitors. Although it was an off season for birding, we saw a few. Our accommodation was modern and well kitted. We had a really enjoyable stay. I bought this getaway for my husband's birthday and was relieved that he said he enjoyed it so much he'd want to visit again.

Die beste blyplek en dorp ooit. Plek was netjies en alles wat jy benodig was toegerus in die huisie. Sal beslis weer besoek. Die uitkyk oor die vallei is pragtig. Plek is in 'n rustige area geleë.

As above. Lovely stay. The cottage is perfectly positioned with an elevated view across the smallholdings and the facing mountains. The cottage has a bedsit design - comfy for a weekend for two. Easy access to the village, restaurants, etc., and to the local mountain bike routes (of which there's a choice between long and short). An ideal spot for birders too.

Aangenaam, netjies. Dit is genoeg vir 2 mense, ja het dit geniet warm geslaap. Rustig en stil.

Uitstaande en lekker gebly. Alles wat nodig is en het baie geniet.

Fantastiese verblyf in 'n pragtige dorpie. Dit was 'n heerlike naweek weg gewees. Waar Wakkerstroom is, is 'n baie mooi huisie en baie gerieflik. Ons was baie verras deur al die klein goedjies wat ons verblyf baie gemaklik gemaak het. Volgende keer sal ons langer bly.

A cute, cosy spot with everything you need . We loved our stay here! Our host was very responsive and gave great recommendations - both regarding where to eat and to contact BirdLifeSA for a guided trip in the area. The house had all the amenities, including a closed fireplace that kept us beautifully warm on the chilly nights and was a lovely short walk into town. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here when we visit again! Thanks!
