Magnificent peace, tranquility and stunning views and comfort. Superbly comfortable, quiet and beautiful views, most enjoyable sitting (and braaiing) on the patio watching cattle, sheep, guinea fowl, large selection of birds, goats, and even saw 3 turkeys. Beautiful location, accommodation was perfect. What a beautiful spot! Lovely fresh mountain air and small town charm catered to visitors. Although it was an off season for birding, we saw a few. Our accommodation was modern and well kitted. We had a really enjoyable stay. I bought this getaway for my husband's birthday and was relieved that he said he enjoyed it so much he'd want to visit again.

The best place to stay and town ever. Place was neat and everything you need was equipped in the cottage. Will definitely visit again. The view over the valley is beautiful. Place is located in a quiet area.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful village. It had been a lovely weekend away. Where Wakkerstroom is, is a very nice house and very comfortable. We were very surprised by all the little things that made our stay very comfortable. Next time we will stay longer.

A cute, cosy spot with everything you need . We loved our stay here! Our host was very responsive and gave great recommendations - both regarding where to eat and to contact BirdLifeSA for a guided trip in the area.
