Satisfied, but for a few changes. Everything was clean and tidy, but if I may, I have a few suggestions. Especially for people staying one night only, a few sachets of coffee and sugar, and if possible, a small amount of milk would be welcome. Also, some hand soap in the bathroom would be appreciated.

Dit was nou lekker . Ons het baie lekker gekuier. Die kos was vreeslik lekker en beslis waarde vir geld. Ligging was perfek en veilig.

Ons verblyf was aangenaam, behalwe vir die riskante klim na die huisie. Aan die positiewe kant is die verblyf aangenaam in terme van ligging en blootstelling aan die natuur. Die enigste kritiek op die lodge self is dat dit voorgee om selfversorgend te wees, maar daar is geen opwasgeriewe nie. Dit is egter nie geskik vir enigiemand wat 'n mate van probleme met mobiliteit of balans ondervind nie. Dis 'n steil opdraande vanaf die parkeerplek na die huisie en selfs sonder om iets te dra, is dit 'n riskante klim waarvan die grootste deel op ongelyke trappe is. Ons is van mening dat ouer gaste duidelik daarteen gewaarsku behoort te word.

Hi Dirk Thank you for your support and review. Two things from our side: 1) I think your wording when it comes to the risky climb to the chalets is over-exaggerated. The property is on an incline, yes. Risky? No, sorry, I don't agree. 2) Please also read listings properly before booking in the future. Our listing says self-catering with heat and eat facilities. Units 4 and 5 don't have sinks; however, staff are at your disposal to collect dishes and wash them. Thank you for your input.

Pleasant stay. It would be nice if there was some tea and coffee in the rooms. There is nowhere to wash dishes. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

Thank you for your review. Please note on the listing it says self-catering with heat and eat facilities. Units 4 and 5 have no sink; however, staff do inform guests on check-in to leave dishes in the kitchen and to call them whenever dishes need to be washed. Thank you for your support.

Look at my post above. I would like to state that it would be great if some soap or shower gel could be made available, together with tea and coffee. Pillows need replacing. The deck outside also needs attention. The restaurant and pool area are lovely and the food was very good.

Hi Sonja Thank you for your feedback. With regards to shower gel, tea and coffee, are you aware that you booked self-catering? For these type items, I think a hotel booking would be more suited for you in the future. If you, however, asked my staff for any of these items or myself, we would have gladly assisted. May I please give feedback about the deck? All decks got a fresh coat of varnish less than two months ago, and maintenance was done on all decks, stairs, rails and blue gum droppers. Please could you give specifics with regards to the issues with the deck? I see you stayed at unit 4; I have been up there and I am not sure what you are referring to. With regards to pillows, I do apologise; we will investigate. We pride ourselves on good bedding.

An awesome break away from the hustle of the city. It was fantastic and relaxing. The service and the staff were awesome. I definitely recommend it to family and friends.

I will use them again. Good stay - really liked the deck and restaurant. Pity they close totally and completely on a Sunday! We opted to stay an extra night - and when we got to the pool we were told there is nothing available! Units are comfortable and clean. One unit had issues with the aircon.

Soos verwag. Goeie plek. Alles wat jy nodig het, pas sakpas by die prys. Probleem gehad met lugversorging, maar dit is spoedig opgelos.

Will definitely stay there again. We went down to Baberton on a bike trip and booked a unit at Geo Trail Lodge. We arrived early and were welcomed and enjoyed lunch on the swimming pool deck while preparing our unit. They upgraded our apartment to a better unit with a fantastic view for free. It is a great place for a breakaway.
