Ria’s Rest Self-Catering Cottage – Sedgefield Island Conservancy

Welcome to Ria’s Rest, a cozy little cottage tucked away in the beautiful Sedgefield Island Conservancy. It’s the perfect spot for two guests looking to unwind, with the bonus of both electricity and solar to keep things running smoothly.

What you’ll find inside
The cottage is furnished with two comfy single beds, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, basin, and toilet. Fresh linen and towels are ready for your stay, so you can just arrive and relax.

Kitchen & Living
The open-plan kitchen has everything you need — a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, induction plate, gas cooker, air fryer, sandwich press/grill, and all your basic cutlery, crockery, plus tea and coffee-making facilities. The kitchen flows into a small dining space and a lounge with comfy chairs, a TV, and fibre WiFi if you’d like to stream or catch up on work.

Outdoor spaces
You’ll have your own fenced backyard with a neat lawn, great for relaxing or if you’re bringing along your fur kids. There’s also a private braai, and you’re more than welcome to enjoy the swimming pool and braai area on the owner’s side of the property.

Exploring the area
From here, you’re just a 10-minute walk to the water’s edge and the popular Wild Oats Farmer’s Market. Beautiful dog-friendly beaches, restaurants, and estuaries are all nearby. You can also take in views of Cloud 9, a world-famous paragliding spot, or take a short 8-minute drive to Gericke’s Point with its amazing rock pools and marine life.

This special part of the Garden Route is internationally recognized as a World Heritage Site — and staying at Ria’s Rest means you get to enjoy it right on your doorstep.
