Amazing - will return out of hunting season next time. Witgatboom boskamp het alles wat mens graag wil beleef op 'n wegbreek - ontvangs en game drive gids is baie ingelig oor die plaas. Maar, sal nice wees as mens ingelig word met bespreking dat daar ook gejag gaan word op Saterdag. Dan is daar geen aktiewe tyd toegelaat buite kamp - dit was nie aangenaam om dit uit te vind met inboek.

Lovely location and accommodation with plentiful game. Game wandered right outside our unit - lovely. Unfortunately, due to recent rains, many roads are still muddy, so no game drives are possible. WiFi system failed and was repaired only on the last afternoon.

Lovely place, friendly people, amazing location, private, safe and clean. My wife and I stayed at Witgat for the Hansie rugby week and were pleasantly surprised. The host communicated well in advance, the place was clean and well-kept (serviced daily). The unit we stayed in was well equipped and had enough privacy. There is a communal space, but you can also braai and keep to yourself when there are larger groups. Enough wood was provided. We enjoyed the short bush walks the farm had on offer. The farm is close enough for trips to town or even Nylsvley Nature Reserve. There are also some amazing eateries around the farm and area. We would advise taking a fan with for the mosquitoes during the rainy season though as the aircon does not work at night (as the farm runs off solar). Definitely consider Witgat for your next stay in Naboomspruit.
