Warm welcome, helpful host, great view spot, clean & safe. Would stay again! We arrived late at night and in the dark but were still greeted with enthusiasm by the owner. He showed us around with a torch and guided us to the best spot to pitch our tent to catch the sunrise. In addition, in the morning, we were given recommendations on local hikes and activities in the area. It was a wonderful location, clean and safe. I would stay here again.

Magnificent camping experience. Nico was an excellent, attentive host. We set up our tent under the shade of the acacia trees before heading off to the dam for a glorious swim. The braai, complimentary wood and ablutions were all fabulous additions. The bird life was an added unexpected bonus for us. Watching the sunset over the Swartberg mountains and then the clear night sky surrounded by nature was a wonderful end to a Valentine's Day! We will be back. Thank you, Nico.

Your own peace of heaven! Stunning views, quiet, neat remote campsite, fantastic host and not too far from amenities. Swartberg Pass is a must!

Adventure camping away from any noise. We were the first campers at a new site up the mountain. It has a beautiful view, basic ablutions with a battery light and a donkey for hot water. The host drove with us to the camp and provided us with a pile of firewood for the cold night (it was close to zero degrees). He later checked in again to see if we were ok. It would have been nice to learn in the description ahead of time that there are no power points.

A bush camp with a beautiful view, hot water and flush toilets. We had a great stay. Nico was very helpful and the camper was neat with all the necessary facilities.
