The riverfront location is well-suited for shore fishing and Yellowfish fly fishing, making it a popular choice among angling enthusiasts. In addition to its fishing opportunities, Vaal de Sioleh also serves as a sought-after wedding venue. The charming chapel, overlooking the Vaal River, provides a scenic backdrop for weddings and other special occasions.

Guests can choose from a range of self-catering accommodation options, including units along the riverbank as well as chalets located further back on the shallower side of the river. These units accommodate between 2 and 8 guests each.

On-site facilities include a communal swimming pool and 2 private pools situated near the chalets, allowing guests to relax and cool off during their stay. The surrounding game camp enhances the natural setting, with white and brown Boer goats, zebras, and giraffes freely roaming the area.

There is also a large dam in front of the guest house where guests can enjoy fishing and various other outdoor activities.
