"Unfortunately the town has gone the route of many poorly run towns, is dirty and roads are very bad. CBD is very crowded and dirty."
"Quiet seaside town. Perfect to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city."
"Keep meaning to stop for longer and do all the wonderful things available in the area, next time!"
"This is definitely a place to visit and already spoken to friends and family to do the same."

Urban Manor BnB"No traffic! Friendly residents. Safe for walks and runs. Lovely beaches and malls and traffic officers. I do wish there were more night markets inviting you out etc. But a really tranquil city!"

Road Lodge Gqeberha Airport"It is definitely not a tourist destination with not much to do. I travelled for work, but my husband just went along and didn't have much to do. We did have one day to do things. Googling "things to do in PE" does not help at all, as the only answers are game drives and coming from Mpumalanga it is not something I would want to do. We ended up driving around to find places. Fort Frederick is interesting but sadly abandoned, as well as the infamous lighthouse. Sancorp was very interesting and I am saddened that not many people know about them as they do amazing work. Camelot Spa was amazing and shark rock pier was very well looked after. The rest of the town is kind of run-down and littered. A letdown if you compare it to other harbour/ industrial ocean areas like Mosselbay and V&A Waterfront."

Opi-See"Port Elizabeth is a beautiful city. As in any city or town in South Africa, you need to be vigilant and take note of your surroundings. There are many beautiful places to visit. Just to be safe, ask your hosts for recommendations before you set out exploring."
"Calm, peaceful. Enjoyed the boat ride through the canals with captain Kev. Shops within reach. Just love the place."

Beach View Cascades Summerstrand"Seefront is nie winderig nie. Mense baie vriendelik. Barney's se kos is fantasties."
Sal weer besoek"

Stewart's Nest"PE has become like a little Cape Town. It really is an awesome family destination."
"Mooi dorpie.
